NOW Group is an award winning social enterprise that supports people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future. They do this by offering a range of services that support people at whatever stage of life they are at. Whether that is leaving full time education, unemployed, returning to work or graduates. NOW also offer social groups, a family service for new or expectant parents with a learning difficulty or autism and are the organisaion behind the JAM Card.
Each year the organisation commissions Gauge NI to carry out a Social Return on Investment evaluation of their services to ensure that everything they do is having a positive impact on participants.
The evaluation for 2017-18 shows that for every £1 invested in the organisation, £12 social value is generated. Some of the key findings of the report include:
557 people were supported
60 people achieved paid work
322 qualifications were achieved
175 people achieved qualifications
Services saved £1,138,830 in daycare places
